Frank Carter felt bitter as he took in the beauty of Potash Country Club from his seat outside the pro shop. He hadn't always been like this. Through the telling of his humorous and sometimes poignant stories, Frank relives the joy of life that he had growing up and Tommy learns more than he ever imagined about this small-town New Hampshire country club.
