Synopsis
The novel Winterkill is a thriller that follows the story of people whose lives become intertwined in an unexpected and ultimately deadly manner. It tells of a growing romance between two naïve teens, and how their seemingly idyllic life together as adults is endangered by a dark figure from the past. Adam is a shy and thoughtful high school boy when he first sees Beth, a beautiful and sensitive girl. They soon begin to date and their relationship develops into something more serious. Unknown to them, they are being observed by Mickey, a troubled teen who is becoming obsessed with the young couple as his mental problems deepen. Adam and Beth experience the typical ups and downs as they grow into adulthood, but troubling clues begin to emerge about a more ominous presence at the fringes of their lives. Events accelerate to a frightening climax at the intersection of love, courage, jealousy, … and madness.
