As a recording artist, with the group KansasCali, N.I.C.E. would also appear on 8 motion picture soundtracks, the notables include Crash (won the Oscar for "Best Picture"), Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Haven and Kickin' It Old Skool. He is a Stellar Awards Winner, a 9 time Spin Awards winner, a 3 time Gospel Hip Hop Awards winner and has appeared on the ballots of the Grammys and the Dove Awards.
