À propos de l?auteur

I’ll confess I don’t particularly like autobiographies of individuals’ accomplishments. Because I started my first business, with employees, when I was twenty, I have always been the boss, and I never had to write one to get my position. Owners have the best job security in the world. However, because I have always been boss, I have had to read plenty of boring resumes full of claims of accomplishments. The truth is I don’t care what you have accomplished in the past. I only want to know what you can do for me tomorrow and the next day and the day after that. What you did yesterday is only important to me if it moves the organization closer to its goals and objectives—and whether you can do it again tomorrow and every tomorrow in the future. That’s the way you should feel about this book: Can it help you and your organization get closer to your goals and objectives tomorrow and every tomorrow in the future? The articles in this book have been written from my personal experience. The ideas expressed here work. The information found in this book is here to make your work and life more manageable—just like it did for me. None of this information will work unless you do. About the only fact that I think you need to know about me, is that I started out with $1,750 I had saved, and a promissory note for around $20,000—for a business that had a negative net worth of $12,000. I turned that into hundreds of millions of dollars in sales and millions of dollars in profits over the years. I was able to retire to a life that most people only dream of at the age of forty-six.
