Synopsis
Tigress, the Old Lady of the Void, has no idea of her significance in the order of the universe. She is a tired old cargo ship and crew which is being hunted for all the wrong reasons. Captain Markus Augustus has been hunted before by Raiders, but then he knew why, for his cargo. Now, however he along with his ship and crew, are being hunted by the very people sworn to protect the cargo ships of our future, the Rangers. Alpha2, a newly discovered planet in the abyss between two galaxies, has become a sanctuary for a diverse collection of those not of the status quo. This collection of humans, aliens, AIs and a combination of all three have formed a united coalition to live together on this new planet in peace. And yet, they are still threatened by the universe they left behind. Alpha2 will have to find a way to survive, to become independent and offer their citizens a free society no longer available on Earth. Tigress, with her Captain and crew, will have to help them establish a marriage of worlds, finding in the end, something old they can build on and turn it into something new. They will borrow those from Earth that can help them and in return, offer them a world of their own with skies of blue. This is the quest of Tigress, to finally find the peace they have been searching for.
