Elizabeth (Liz Gaudet) Hilby retired 2014 after 23 years as a para-educator for special needs children to become a full-time grandmother and writer. She has a column in the LA Road Trip magazine, partners with a local Christian gift shop to present a monthly devotion/activity, and contributes articles to the inspiration section of a local newspaper. Liz is a member of two Writer’s Guilds and also speaks to encourage others in their faith. As a Christian writer, Liz believes if God has something to say, He will give her the necessary faith and confidence through the Holy Spirit to do it. Her writing includes useful analogies and questions, so that the book can be an interactive study. Liz believes, if you hear and obey God, you can enjoy an incredible partnership and journey with Him. That is what she has done in writing from her faith to encourage others in theirs. To God be the glory! Liz has been a lifetime resident of Louisiana. She has called Pearl River home for thirty-six years. She married Lester, her biggest fan and soul mate, in 1978. They have two children and two grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, crafts, and leads a Women's Life Group at her church. Currently, Liz is a student at ICM college, working toward a degree in Christian counseling.
