Synopsis
A Look Inside We had been having a lot of trouble with the tribe on the other side of the hill. They thought that the land we camped on, was their private hunting area. There were no courts to file a complaint with. It was dog-eat-dog. The trouble makers, had a big campfire and drum beating party that night. Even though they were miles away we heard them all the way over, in our camp. Screaming and yelling was pep talk for the braves. And they did plenty of that, more than enough. Emmy, me, and a few of the boys decided to go scout them out. After counting them fifteen times, the data showed it was bad. They outnumbered us 10 to one. Even if we put our squaws and old guys on the line, it still wouldn’t add up. We had a meeting back at out camp. Just to make sure I heard, and understood the drums, and yelling correctly, I asked what they meant. Emmy informed me that the idea was; “massacre starts at noon tomorrow, hope you will join us”. Oh hell that’s what I thought.
