A curse to everyone, and he embraces it.When Desert Rain suddenly stumbles upon Ayu’s lost memories and returns them to him, the Wretched’s true nature is awoken: he is a Distortionist with an insatiable drive to not only destroy the clan that betrayed him, but transform all of Luuva Gros into his twisted vision. Desert Rain, feeling responsible for her friend’s shift to madness, pursues him to stop the spread of his Distortion. With the help of a lizard disguised as human, a Quetzalin bird girl, and the mighty Swordmaster, Desert Rain begins a quest unlike any she’s ever faced that could change Luuva Gros and everyone in it forever.

À propos de l?auteur

A native of Riverside, Illinois, A.R. Cook now resides in Gainesville, Georgia, and is the author of The Scholar and the Sphinx young adult book series. She also has short stories published in the anthology "The Kress Project" from the Georgia Museum of Art, and the fairy-tale collections "Willow Weep No More" and "Shadows of the Oak" from Tenebris Books. Several of A.R.'s short stories and short plays have been awarded honorable mentions in various magazines, such as Toasted Cheese Literary Journal and Writer's Digest. From 2009-2013, A.R. was the book review columnist for the Gainesville Times in northeastern Georgia.
