À propos de l'auteur

A New Jersey born teacher and writer, Nancy Kern holds an M.F.A. in writing from Sarah Lawrence College. Her work has appeared in numerous journals including The Antioch Review, Prairie Schooner, The Ontario Review and has been anthologized in Extraordinary Gifts: Remarkable Women from the Delaware Valley, and Coming of Age: Short Stories About Youth and Adolescence. A former journalist for the South Carolina Point and the North Jersey Suburban News, Nancy’s work has also been performed at the Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey in Millburn, New Jersey. Nancy has earned fellowships from the New Jersey Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Geraldine Dodge Foundation. She has earned recognition in Glimmer Train’s short story award for new writers and was awarded The Glenna Luschei Prairie Schooner Award. Nancy is currently at work on her second novel and lives in New Jersey with her two daughters and cat.
