Synopsis
The tree was lonely and sad. The children next door were spending their time on-screen rather outdoors. When a new family moved in, things changed dramatically for the tree. This cute story will captivate young readers and hopefully inspire them to spend more time outdoors and connect with the environment around them.

Awwab Azam is a nine-year-old boy and has been living in Tampa, Florida with his parents ever since he was born. He is a fourth-grader and currently attends Bayaan Academy. One of Awwab’s favorite pastimes is reading, and he enjoys playing outside. Soccer and cricket are his favorite sports. This is his second book (the first book never got published, although it might be, in the future). Awwab wrote this story in the summer of 2013. It was the summer break after first grade. His teacher, Dr. Dalia El-Deeb, asked him to come up with a story that they would be translating into Arabic. She was impressed by the story and said, “This should be published! ”.
