Synopsis

As a new widow, you are faced with critical financial decisions at a time when you’re dealing with profound grief. Suddenly Alone: Three steps for your financial clarity as a recent widow is designed to help you navigate this difficult stage. It helps answer questions such as:

  • Am I going to make it?
  • Do I have enough?
  • Can I afford to keep my home?
  • Do I need to go back to work?
This guidebook covers the essentials to help stabilize your fears through the first months after the devastating loss of your husband. At 40 pages in length, it is presented in a straightforward format that is not overwhelming to read – no legalese and all jargon defined.

Critical items to be done are marked with a “0-60 Days” symbol. You can quickly scan to make sure nothing has been missed. There are also links to articles regarding more comprehensive concepts if you are wanting in-depth coverage on specific topics.

Suddenly Alone outlines precisely what tasks to do regarding your finances using a three-step process: Paper and People, Stabilizing Your Cash Flow, and Connecting Your Financial Snapshots. It is not intended to teach you everything about money and financial matters. Rather, its purpose is to help you feel organized and gain the knowledge you need to work effectively with your team of professionals. Print or ebook, take this guidebook as a tool wherever you go.

All profits from the sale of this guidebook are donated for charitable purposes to provide scholarships, services, and emergency family support to widows.
