Synopsis

It's a summer of transition for Fiona MacGregor and Meg Jordan. Having just passed the New York state bar exam, Fiona is excited about her emerging career, but something she never anticipated threatens to upend all of her carefully laid plans. Meg is spending the summer in New York City after finishing veterinary school, and before she moves back to Seattle to join her aunt's veterinary clinic. Kimberly Cooper Griffin is a technical program manager by day and a romance novelist by night. Born in San Diego, California, Kimberly joined the Air Force, traveled the world, and eventually settled down in Denver Colorado, where she lives with her wife, the youngest of her three daughters, and a menagerie of dogs and cats. When Kimberly isn't working or writing, she enjoys a variety of interests, but at the core of all of it all, she has an insatiable desire to connect with people and experience life to its fullest. Every moment is collected and archived into memory, a candidate for being woven into the fabric of the tales she tells.

Matthew LaFleur is the award-winning illustrator of The Toothless Fairy (2015) and cover designer for Chasing Mercury (2017) and Without a Net (2019). Jack of All Trades, Master of Fun, LaFleur currently resides in Illinois. A designer and illustrator for fifteen years, he has a BFA in illustration.

Jennifer Renton has worked for two decades in the fields of writing, copy-writing, and editing. Having lived and worked on four continents, she has built a diverse client list and greatly enjoys working on the wide variety of content she receives from authors around the world.
