In practice since 1985, he specializes in sex therapy, Out-of-Control Sexual Behavior, LGBTQ issues and Imago Relationship Therapy. He provides weekend workshops for gay couples and singles along with individual, group and couples therapy and coaching. He is the author of three other books: 10 Smart Things Gay Men Can Do To Find Real Love, Gay Affirmative Therapy for the Straight Clinician: The Essential Guide, and Is My Husband Gay, Straight, or Bi?: A Guide for Women Concerned about Their Men. He is a regular blogger for Psychology Today and The Huffington Post. He’s on the teaching faculty of the University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Certificate Program.
