Synopsis

A book of poems and photos celebrating the Chesapeake Bay by author/poet Christine Higgins and photographer Kevin Higgins. The poems, accompanied by photographs that complement the words, tell of pleasures, observations and experiences encountered while staying at a beach cottage on the Chesapeake Bay in Calvert County, away from the stresses of busy lives in New York and Baltimore. As one of the purposes of the book is to preserve the beauty of this and other coastal places, 10% of proceeds from the book will be donated to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
