Rev. Dr. A. René Whitaker is an ordained Presbyterian minister. She has worked with congregations in transition for 20 years. Rev. Whitaker earned a Master of Divinity at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. In 2014, she completed a Doctor of Ministry in Science and Theology at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Her final project is entitled, Creating Community in a Networked World. Rev. Whitaker currently lives in Pittsburgh. She is also available to lead retreats, preach and offer spiritual care. Her first book, Gravity, Gratitude, Grace: A Journey of Healing & Hope was published in 2012. A second book entitled, Between Time and Meaning was published in 2016. Other publications are on the way.
