À propos de l'auteur

Guinotte Wise was called a rodeo poet on a jazz radio show in Lawrence, Kansas for some liner notes he wrote for City Lights Orchestra’s Raised Spirits album featuring KC Jazz legend David Basse. He figured he’d better get on it if he was going to live up to that moniker. This collection, Scattered Cranes does have a poem titled Rodeo Voodoo that chronicles some of that side of him. The ouch moments. Wise relives construction jobs, his Tulsa boyhood, biker adventures, the Kansas dustbowl era, his own forays into Los Angeles, and more.
