Jonathan Leon began his interest in cooking at the age of 6, which is when he first started assisting his mother, father and grandmother with Thanksgiving dinners. At age 16, through the Co-op program in his high school, he was able to attend classes as well as work at McDonald's, and this is how his career in the Food Industry began. He graduated from New York Food and Hotel Management School with a certificate in Culinary Arts. Though he has dabbled in cooking many different cuisines, his passion has always been with desserts. As his passion grew and he would deliver his tasty treats, his customers as well as their children would say “Here comes the Cheesecake Man!!” and this is where the idea started coming to life. In 2013 he became a licensed business owner and opened an online, delivery and catering business named: J’s Specialty Cheesecakes, LLC.
