Synopsis
'The Small Group Saga-Session One' is the first in a series of novellas that follows the adventures of a young man, Tyler Cris, asked to join The Specter Core. Unfortunately for Tyler, he's the only Specter who wasn't given a special power upon joining. Thankfully that never stopped his mentor, Michael Salazar, from always encouraging him to be patient and just wait. Fast forward twelve years and Michael dies protecting Tyler. Now our main character must make good on a promise he gave his late mentor to be a substitute small group leader at Camp Aspen View for the next week. What happens when Tyler is found by The Dark Legion and can't protect himself once again? What happens when he meets a boy who's a whole lot more similar to him than he'd like? And what happens when he's forced to be better, fake the courage and faith, and fight an old foe he knows he'll lose to? Also, he dies at the end.
