A California transplant from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeff Gephart is the author of two previous novels: The Second Life and Out of Dark Places. He has worked professionally as a graphic artist, elementary school teacher, and editor. With a background in performing arts, Jeff has spent time both in front of and behind the camera in a variety of independent film projects and a weekly cable TV show.
