Synopsis
A future of over indulgence polluted with mismanaged contaminants. Pharmaceuticals have been leveraged by the ruling class. CEOs have been replaced with kings and lords. When climate change and tribal warfare leave most of the earth uninhabitable, one city, New Atlantis, desperately clings to the social class structures and tyrannical control methods that made it the envy of the world. Upper-class cyborgs and lower-class naturals endure acid rain, coyotes, and the suck of the machine as they compete for dwindling resources. Rita came to New Atlantis as a young girl; a refugee seeking asylum. Now an adult, Rita works inhumane hours in inhumane conditions. Impoverished, Rita does the unthinkable, selling her unborn children into servitude. As the last city on Earth collapses, and their way of life slowly unravels, Rita, her son, Váli, and her partner, Ernesto, contemplate the cost they have paid to be members of the “civilized” world. Domain Geometry explores the need to dominate, the pursuit of superiority, and the infinite alternate outcomes stemming from each decision.
