Michelliah McCraney is a parent educator, mentor, inspirational speaker and spoken word artist. She is also a mother, grandmother, and the Founder and Executive Director of Aspiring Beautiful & Confident Girls, Inc. She was born and raised in South Florida. She has worked in Florida’s Public School System in Miami-Dade, Broward and Alachua counties using her skills to enhance the lives of at-risk children and families. Throughout her 21-year tenure, Ms. McCraney has worked with Head Start, Pre-K and Elementary School-age children, including (ESE) Exceptional Student Education, (ADHD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, (ADD) Attention Deficit Disorder and those diagnosed with (ASD) Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a (BRT) Behavior Resource Teacher, she has successfully transformed the behavior of many challenging students. Advancing in her career, Ms. McCraney has administered the Parent Resource Center, After School Programs, arranged Career Day Programs, organized Youth Mentoring Programs, implemented Parenting Workshops, and built partnerships with local businesses throughout the community to support incentive programs for students and families in need. Currently, as a parent educator and mentor, she continues to provide words of wisdom, encouragement, parenting skills and resources to children and families.
