Synopsis

Peeling, Dealing, and Healing is a collection of poems about a journey of self-discovery and emotional growth after a series of failed romantic relationships. It chronicles years of peeling away layers of emotional scar tissue, dealing with that integument, and, finally, experiencing the peace of true healing. But these poems do something else as well; they offer guidance and hope to others on the same path. G. Allen writes, "Protect and guide those around me, so we may venture forth unharmed." Because she knows that we must all move forward together, the reader will find much wisdom and guidance here.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

G. Allen lives in Atlanta, GA, but calls New Orleans home. "I was born and raised in New Orleans. As a third-generation New Orleanian, I still have deep roots in that city and return there as often as I can," she explains. G. Allen indulges her passion for words by writing poetry and, as a technical writer, non-fiction. She has worked as a technical writer for over 25 years, and prior to that, as a teacher for several years. Visit the author online: www.facebook.com/GAllenBooks/
