Synopsis

She was never supposed to see him again...

Penny Connor was practical to a fault. Which is why the beautiful accountant was determined to enjoy her honeymoon— groom or no groom. After walking in on her fiancé with another woman, she called off the wedding and hopped a plane to Italy. She allowed herself one sizzling week, acting completely out of character under the Tuscan sun with a handsome stranger, before returning home to pick up the pieces.

Hockey hotshot Ethan Hartnell had quite the reputation living life on his own terms. Being traded to the San Francisco Strikers, due to his questionable behavior was a fresh shot— his last shot. One he couldn’t afford to mess up. Everything was going according to plan, until he walks into a local bar and sees the woman who ran away from his bed in Tuscany.

Which is exactly what she plans to do when they see each other again— but this time he’s not going to let her get away so easily.

This is a full-length novel with a HEA and NO cliffhanger!

À propos de l'auteur

I have always loved romance. Reading it, writing it, and watching it on TV. I got hooked on romance novels when I was 14, when I told my mother that if it wasn’t a bodice ripping cover, then there was no sex in the book. She believed me since she’s a mystery fan and was never going to read a romance to find out if I was lying. I’m now up to over 4,000 read in the last 20+ years. I possibly have a problem and I don’t care. I take my Kindle with me everywhere. All those books on one device in my purse make me feel like Mary Poppins. I originally wanted to write historical romance due to my deep love of Regency historicals. A love so deep that I actually convinced my husband to get married over the anvil at Gretna Green and he agreed. But due to a mishap at my bachelorette party, a quirky Facebook post a year later, and some determined friends, I have ventured into the world of contemporary romance and I’m loving it. I get to be snarky and funny, and don’t have to worry about those pesky chaperones that follow a heroine’s every move in historicals.
