Dr. V. Brooks Dunbar has spent two decades mentoring and coaching young and professional women. She offers a refreshingly holistic view on personal and career growth, combining practical tips and surefire tools with raw and insightful emotional intelligence. Her global network of affiliations and interests include women's funds, business and entrepreneurship, and women in higher education. She was a doctoral fellow of the British Academy of Management and a visiting researcher at Cranfield University School of Management, England. Dunbar earned a doctorate in management with emphasis in organizational crisis leadership and decision making; and a master's degree in public administration with concentration in human resource policy and management. Dr. Dunbar is a certified Academic Life Coach and holds a Graduate Certificate in Organizational and Leadership Coaching. She is a highly-aware (intuitive) and strategically-oriented leader, mentor, coach, and manager with more than twenty years of knowledge, education, training, and experience gained in the U.S. and abroad. Through her own learning and experiences with business, entrepreneurship, and women's advocacy around the world, she has become a passionate and dedicated advocate for career-focused young women and girls. Her coaching specialty includes student leadership development, managerial leadership, and mindfulness coaching. She uses evidence-based management and evidence-based coaching principles to improve individual, team and organizational leadership performance. She is passionate about people, helping others and promoting life-changing opportunities to help you reach your full potential.
