Synopsis

Mala's mother was an elf who died when Mala was an infant. Her father, Mestophelies, is a powerful wizard and ruler of Valacanda. On Mala's fourteenth birthday her father is kidnapped and she must travel to the dark side and face her evil uncle Saldorian to save him. Mestophelies leaves his daughter a magic jewel to assist her in her quest. This children's fantasy tells the story of Mala's journey through the kingdom's seven territories. She receives help from wizards that Saldorian has turned into monsters. Mala's adventure teaches her the virtues that will someday make her a wise ruler of Valacanda.

À propos de l'auteur

Noah Elitzu was not quite eight years old when he decided he wanted to write a real book. He told elaborate stories and possessed an amazing imagination. He enlisted the help of his Nana (a published authored) to help him capture this tale. Nana acted as an editor, but the story remained totally Noah's. It is his first published book.
