If you want to be a great product manager, you need a great product strategy. You have to understand how to keep your product moving today, and how to invest in its success for years to come. But developing a product strategy is hard, and takes time. It means understanding where your customer, the technology, and your competitors are all headed. You have to monitor and adjust constantly. You have to move beyond managing the product and start leading it. This book reveals how to create a winning product strategy, even when you’re coming from behind. It covers the three main areas you need to understand for long-term success: i) The five elements of a product strategy, ii) How to drive product growth today and into the future, and iii) How to analyze markets to create a sustainable competitive advantage Whether strategy is already a regular part of your routine or if you are looking to improve, this book offers you detailed, practical advice on achieving success for your product.
