To whom much is given, much is required. This saying outlines the life and ongoing legacy of Dr. Samuel Jones, who is a passionate facilitator, motivational speaker, leadership development trainer who possesses the ability to connect with his audience on the topics that matter most. As a former college and professional athlete, he has acquired years of executive management experience. He humbly overcame unbelievable obstacles to enjoy a life of service today. His most treasured accomplishment is his marriage to the former Sarah Clark of Richton, MS. Dr. Jones is an ordained Minister and serves as the Superintendent of Sunday school at Peace & Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Richton, MS. He is the current owner of Life Changing Presentations, a seminars & presentations company that focuses on leadership development. He is also the Vice President of Student Affairs at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi and the leadership facilitator for the Mississippi Economic Council’s Leadership Program. Dr. Jones received a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and a Master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi. He later continued his education at Mississippi State University where he received a doctorate in Educational Leadership (Community College Leadership). He’s conducted leadership training for organizations such as General Electric Aviation, the Leadership MS program (sponsored by MEC), Farm Bureau, Entergy Inc., Navigator Credit Union, MS Power, and several Colleges & Universities to name a few. He’s a proud member of the National Speakers Association and a member of the Alumni Hall of Fame at the University of Southern Mississippi. Today, he is passionate about success—the success of individuals and organizations. He shares his personal expertise through his experiences to highlight personal and professional know-hows that will indeed make a difference. He is the author of The Man I Never Knew: How Leadership Can Be Developed by Faith, Family, and Friends and Live Life on Purpose: From Discovery to Practice.
