A wave of warmth cascaded over me—His gentle peace, His boundless grace—wrapping me like a protective embrace. Then, as mysteriously as He had appeared, He vanished, leaving an indelible imprint on my heart.
Later, sharing this with Fr. Tierney, he handed me a wrapped gift. Inside was a framed painting of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. “That’s Him,” Fr. Tierney said, his voice steady with recognition. He explained that my description— “I fell into His eyes and felt the warmth of His gentle peace and grace”—echoed experiences shared by others over the years. They, too, had fallen into those same eyes, emerging transformed.
