This Spiritual Basic Training manual is designed for Christians that want to develop a strong and enduring personal relationship with God. The reader will find that this scripture-based manual can be tailored to any individual or group. New Converts will learn basic foundational practices and understanding of becoming an active Kingdom soldier. A more seasoned Christian will develop more effective skills to increase their productivity in the Kingdom of God. Very similar to "boot camp" for the armed forces, students of this training manual will learn skills to be capable cadets and laborers for the faith community. Broken down into seven chapters, this manual guides the reader through explorations that will help them in their spiritual as well as secular walk. Before they begin the 6-week journey, the participants are informed essential tools to be successful for the next six weeks. This medium includes being open to new experiences, developing a life of prayer, and pushing towards excellence. The first week is a challenging week in which the readers are challenged to do self- examination and develop personal prayer and study practices the next two weeks are titled "Learn" and "Embrace." The students are instructed in an efficient and self-directed manner, to study and incorporate the examples of Jesus Christ. Week Four "Defensive Fighting Techniques" are taught through scripture, and they analyze responses to various situations. As participant develop and incorporate the skills to evangelize, intercede, and recognize spiritual enemies, in week five and six they are informed how to maintain balance. This balance includes a balance in Mind, Body, and Spirit. This six-week manual is one that all ministries will want in their arsenal of teaching tools. The new disciples will learn the necessary skill to acquire and maintain a personal and enriching relationship with God. The mature Christians can always go back through the “Spiritual Basic Training" to improve and enhance the skills that they have as a warrior for the Kingdom of God. The Individual can add this manual to their library for references needed for prayer, study, and healthy physical life.

Deborah Sheppard is the co-founder of Unveiling Word Ministries Newnan, Ga., with her husband, Apostle Wayne Sheppard. She is a loving mother of three wonderful boys, Immanuel Griggs, Darrell Griggs, and Elijah Griggs. Apostle Deborah Sheppard Graduated from Newnan High School in 1986, she received her Master’s in Cosmetology in 1993, her second Degree in Business Administration in 2005 at the American InterContinental University, and went on to receive her third Degree in Accounting/Banking in 2012 from the Rasmussen University in Ocala, FL. She is also a graduate of Leadership Coweta 2013’s Coweta County Chamber of Commerce. Apostle Deborah Sheppard’s spiritual covering is Bishop Timothy O. Boone and Pastor Cynthia Boone. Apostle Deborah Sheppard is a successful entrepreneur, the past owner of Emmanuel Hair Salon, MFC Financial Service LLC (Tax Preparation and Financial Consultancy), and The Queen Jewels & Apparel LLC. Apostle Deborah’s passion is helping serve the community, she has three current projects that she oversees — Community Kidz Back to School project; Project 21; and Christmas Project, where she adopts 21 children at Christmas time.
