RonNell Andersen Jones is University Distinguished Professor and Teitelbaum Chair in Law at the University of Utah S. J. Quinney College of Law. She is a regular press-freedom commentator for national media outlets, Affiliated Fellow at the Yale Information Society Project, and an elected member of the American Law Institute.

Sonja R. West is the Brumby Distinguished Professor in First Amendment Law at the University of Georgia School of Law and Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is one of the nation's foremost experts on constitutional protections for the press.
