Taschenbuch. Etat : Neu. Neuware - 'Social and Diplomatic Memories 1894-1901' provides an illuminating first-hand account of the life and work of Sir James Rennell Rodd, a distinguished British diplomat during the height of the Victorian era. Covering a pivotal seven-year period, this memoir offers a detailed perspective on the intricate workings of international relations, colonial administration, and the high-society circles of the late nineteenth century.Rodd's narrative focuses heavily on his tenure in Egypt, serving under the influential Lord Cromer.
