Hans-Georg Wolf holds the chair of Development and Variation of the English Language at the University of Potsdam, Germany. He is co-editor of a series on cognitive linguistic studies and serves on the editorial board of several journals focused on language and culture, as well as World Englishes.

Frank Polzenhagen is professor for English Linguistics at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), Germany. His research and writing focus on language and culture, and he is a member of the editorial board of various journals and book series in cognitive linguistic studies.

Farzad Sharifian was Professor within the School of Languages, Literatures, Cultures, and Linguistics, and the Director of Language and Society Centre at Monash University, Australia.
