Wieslawa Duży is Assistant Professor at the Department of Historical Atlas at the Institute of History, Polish Academy of Sciences. She is also part of a project at the Faculty of History, "People, Places, and Events" of the University of Warsaw, Poland. Her research interests include social history of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, domain ontologies in the Humanities and spatial historical databases.
