Dr. Subash is a distinguished academician, technocrat, and passionate researcher with extensive expertise in mentoring and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. He currently serves as a full-time Professor at the School of Marine Engineering Equipment, Zhejiang Ocean University, Zhoushan, Zhejiang, China. Additionally, he holds the prestigious position of Board Member of the IEEE Photonics Society, USA (2024-2026). As a senior member of IEEE, Dr. Subash has been actively involved in its activities, including serving as the Founding Chairman of the IEEE Photonics Society Madras Chapter until 2020. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering and his Master of Engineering in Embedded System Technologies from Anna University, India, in 2008 and 2011, respectively. He further pursued his academic journey by completing a Ph.D. in Nanoelectronics at Anna University, Chennai, in 2016. Dr. Subash's passion for teaching and research is evident in his prolific contributions to academia, with over 100 publications in esteemed international and national journals and 56 presentations at international and national conferences. His research interests span Nanoelectronics, Nanoscale Device Modeling, Nanotechnology, mmWave Radar, and Wireless Sensor Networks, showcasing his commitment to advancing knowledge in these cutting-edge fields.
Dr. J. Ajayan received his B.Tech Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kerala University in 2009, M.Tech and Ph.D. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Karunya University, Coimbatore, INDIA, in 2012 and 2017 respectively. He is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Dean, Post Graduation Programs at SR University, Telangana, India. He has published more than 200 research articles (including more than 100 SCI articles) in various journals (IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, Elsevier, Taylor and Francis, Springer, IOP Science, Wiley) and international conferences. He has published seven books, more than 25 book chapters, and 10 patents. He is a reviewer of more than 40 journals in various publishers which includes IEEE, IET, Elsevier and Springer journals. He is a Guest Editor - Special Issue on P2P Computing for Beyond 5G Network (B5G) and Internet-of-Everything (IoE) by Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications, Springer and Special Issue on Energy Harvesting Devices, Circuits and Systems for Internet of Things by Microelectronics Journal, Elsevier. He has served more than 10 conferences as technical advisory/reviewer committee. His areas of interest are microelectronics, semiconductor devices, nanotechnology, RF integrated circuits and photovoltaics.
IR Prof. Dr. Leong Wai Yie received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and bachelor's degree (Hons I) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, Australia in 2005 and 2000 respectively. She has authored 6 book series that highlight the innovation in Electronics and Biomedical Engineering. Wai Yie is currently the Immediate Past Chairperson of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET Malaysia Local Network), IET United Kingdom Council Member, the Vice President of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) 2020/2022 and Vice President of International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES) 2020/2023, and Deputy Vice Chair of World Federation of Engineering Organisation (Women in Engineering Committee). She specialises in medical signal processing and telecommunications research. She has been researching on IR4.0, wireless sensor networks, ultra-wideband and wireless communications, and on Brain Signal Processing for signal conditioning and classification in various EEG-based mental tasks.
