B. Ravisankar, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, has more than 25 years of teaching and research experience. He has contributed a chapter on equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) to the Handbook of Mechanical Nanostructuring. His books Powder Metallurgy: Science, Technology and Applications; Non‑Ferrous Alloys: Structures, Properties and Engineering Applications; Periodic Table of Elements; and Introduction to Steel – Processing, Properties and Applications have been well received as textbooks by numerous institutions.

P.C. Angelo, PhD, is internationally renowned in the fields of Powder Metallurgy and Materials Characterisation for over 40 years. He has taught, researched and published extensively in the areas of optical emission spectroscopy, optical microscopy, X‑ray diffraction, X‑ray fluorescence, electron probe microanalysis, scanning electron microscopy and scanning Auger microprobe. He began his career as a scientist at the Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL), Hyderabad, India. His books Powder Metallurgy: Science, Technology and Applications; Materials Characterisation; Non‑Ferrous Alloys: Structures, Properties and Engineering Applications; Periodic Table of Elements; and Introduction to Steel – Processing, Properties and Applications have been well received as textbooks by numerous institutions. Presently, he is Visiting Professor at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
