Dr. Gowhar Meraj is currently working as an invited Postdoctoral Fellow at the American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). He works in the field of ecosystem services, climate adaptation, SDGs, remote sensing, GIS, hydrology, disaster risk assessment and mitigation, simulation modeling, and spatial analysis. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences, specializing in climate change and water research. He has published his works in reputed journals and has presented his research at various international conferences in countries like Thailand, Japan, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He is a recipient of the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship in Japan, at the University of Tokyo, Young Scientist Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and the BRICS Young Scientist.
Dr. Ahmad Mohd Khalid is a faculty of Economics at Pravin Dalal School of Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management, NMIMS Mumbai. He holds a PhD in Management from IIT Delhi. His research focuses on sustainable development goals, climate change, corporate environmental management and policy issues, in developing countries. He has published his works in reputed journals and has participated in several international conferences in countries such as India, Sri-Lanka, Japan, South-Korea, and USA. He is also a recipient of the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship in Japan in 2021 and received IIT Delhi’s Research Excellence Award in 2019.
