Born and raised in the maritime port of Lymington, England, Christopher D. Swan spent his childhood between the Solent and the New Forest. A lack of academic zeal led him to pursue a long career in retail culminating in his own shop by the turn of the century. He is the proud father of three sons, multiple times grandfather, with the best ex-wife a man could hope for.
