Synopsis

There appear to be two schools of thought in relation to the Enneagram.

To one, the subject is an arcane body of knowledge to be safeguarded and disseminated only to the chosen, or under the mantle of religion.

The other comprises what has been called the ‘Enneagram industry’, in which expertise risks being overtaken by the twin enthusiasms of claim (by the ‘supplier’) and expectation (of the ‘consumer’); a trend that does a disservice both to the integrity of the subject and to the student.

Personality Types: The Psychology of the Enneagram sets forth a third way, of formal study and findings which can be validated, making this book unique in being the only complete and true account of the enneagram teachings.

Personality Types: The Psychology of the Enneagram provides the reader with everything they need to understand the Enneagram and use it to gain insight into their own and others' personalities. The Enneagram type of countries and notable public figures down the ages are analysed and explained.
