Everyone has a brain. This is the instructional user manual that everyone should have. It shows how to use your brain. It teaches you about your brain's major processes and how best to use your brain to reach your goals.
Know Your Brain walks you through the brain's major processes, then gives you real-life examples of people who have successfully used those processes to solve a problem or be creative. Learn about the PEACE acronym:

- Attention to Connections
- Enquiry
Then, apply this information to get your brain to help you reach your goals.
Learning about the brain doesn't have to be hard! It's an important part of understanding yourself as well as some basics of cognition and neuropsychology. Understanding how your brain works can help you understand your feelings and emotions, providing a foundation for improving your mental health and achieving success.

Faith Benvenuti has an Honours Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Trent University, graduating on the Dean's List in 2007. She received a Master's Degree in School Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2009. Faith is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals and has worked in child and adolescent mental health for the Peel District School Board since the fall of 2009. Her work involves administering cognitive and academic tests and consulting with school staff and parents regarding interventions for a wide range of social, emotional, and developmental differences.
Faith is just as flawed and limited as everybody else. That's lived experience. Also, she has a brain and feelings. She finds it helpful to know a few things about them. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and thrifting for treasurers. Faith lives in Brampton, Ontario, with her family.
