Synopsis

A unique and beautifully crafted glimpse into life lived to the brim, When All This Is Over follows the true story of a young girl as she navigates faith, family, tragedy, and happiness from her early days in a rural English village, to nostalgic years on a Greek island, and finally later years raising her own family to adulthood.

Distant memories of bomb shelters and wearing a gas mask to the village school begin this tale of love and adventure, which continues with a delightful and entertaining description of teen life in the fifties, followed by the challenges and opportunities of her college years. As she enters married life with her RAF husband, John, they make decisions together that determine the direction of their future life and family.

A cherished memoir for the author's family, and a delightful autobiography for readers of all ages.
