Synopsis

Nadine "Naddy" Bennet, divorced and alone for over twenty years, marries her true love in her 60's. Tragically, she is widowed after eight short years, and in the throes of grief, allows her daughter to persuade her to move to Joie de Vivre Senior's Home. She begins to heal but soon, under the too-close scrutiny of the home's manager, Naddy finds her independence threatened. She feels constantly undermined and chastised for simply living her life on her terms. Fed up, she takes stock; stay as Nadine or leave and reclaim Naddy. Freedom awaits; all she must do is reach out and take it back. Committed to breaking free, Naddy hatches an escape plan that lands her on the open road. What lies ahead is possibility. What she finds is a forever home and a friend for life. The joy they bring her is immeasurable.
