A prolific researcher, he has published more than 35 papers, authored books, holds a copyright registered with Government of India, and serves as President of the Council of Ancient Mathematical and Scientific Research, India.
Prof. Efrén Mezura-Montes heads the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute at the University of Veracruz, Mexico. He specializes in bio-inspired algorithms for complex optimization problems, with more than 200 publications and over 10,600 Google Scholar citations. He serves as Associate Editor for multiple IEEE journals and holds memberships in prestigious bodies including the Mexican Academy of Sciences and IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. He is also founder of the IEEE task force on Nature-Inspired Constrained Optimization.
