First published in 1959, The Keynesian Theory of Economic Development is perhaps the first systematic attempt to apply post-Keynesian dynamic economics to the problems of underdeveloped countries. Professor Kurihara provides a reference book for students of growth theory and some theoretical guidance in industrial planning. Kenneth K. Kurihara was a Japanese–American economist. He was Distinguished Professor of Economic Theory at the State University of New York, and a noted post-Keynesian economist who worked on Keynesian dynamics, growth, development economics and monetary theory and public policy.
