A Wish for the Lost Dogs / Hiling para sa mga Asong Walang Tahanan
Follow Joseph, a curious Filipino-Kiwi boy, and his dog, Sweetie, on a journey of friendship and empathy. This story is a tribute to the joy dogs bring into our homes and an invitation for tamariki to imagine the positive impact they can have on the world. It is a story of belonging, designed specifically for children of immigrants and multi-cultural families to see their own lives reflected on the page.
A National Musical MilestoneThis book features the hit single "Sweetie Doggie," with lyrics drawn directly from the story. We are incredibly proud to announce that this song has been supported by NZ On Air Musicunder the New Music Kids scheme. Performed with soulful energy by the author Alexander, this high-fidelity track turns reading into a multi-sensory musical experience that helps children cherish language and rhythm.
