Alone with the Mountain Man

One storm. One hike. One very inconvenient attraction.

Wren doesn’t get lost. Not on trails, not fighting fires, and definitely not with a Search and Rescue officer who thinks his way is the only way. Jasper is used to people trusting him with their lives, so when Wren refuses to let him lead during a scavenger hunt, their competition is almost as fierce as their attraction. Then the map is ruined, the rain rolls in, and one wrong call leaves them stranded on the mountain with no way down but together. As the hours stretch on, survival takes a backseat to shared stories, stolen glances, and a chemistry neither of them can ignore. Wren has spent her life proving she doesn’t need rescuing, while Jasper has spent his keeping everyone at a safe distance. But trapped together in the rain, they’re about to discover that sometimes getting lost is exactly what you need to find something worth keeping.

Getting Wet with the Mountain Man

Single man. Single woman. Nothing around but trees, mountain air, and the potential for bad decisions.

Aaron came to the lake to disappear. No rescues, no responsibility, and definitely no complications. Then he hears screaming and discovers it’s not an emergency at all, but his best friend’s sister, Skye, desperately trying to retrieve her camera from the water. She’s a travel journalist on assignment, he’s the only person who knows the remote trails she needs to reach, and neither of them can seem to stay out of the other’s orbit. Skye doesn’t need rescuing, but she has no problem getting under Aaron’s skin, especially when her adventure cat, Kyle, seems determined to make himself at home in Aaron’s carefully controlled world. Aaron plans to keep his distance. Skye needs him to be her guide. And the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to tell where professional necessity ends and attraction begins. Because sometimes the biggest danger in the wilderness isn’t getting lost. It’s finding someone you don’t want to leave behind.

Trouble with the Mountain Man

He came to camp to escape responsibility. Instead, he found a bunch of teenagers who needed him... and a woman who might be exactly what he didn't know he was missing.

Cliff has spent his life rescuing people, so when his boss forces him to take vacation, sitting around doing nothing is never going to happen. His sister sends him to volunteer at her friend Kat's summer camp, where he expects empty cabins and quiet trails. Instead, he finds dozens of teenagers, a determined redheaded camp director, and a whole lot of questions about survival he can't bring himself to ignore. What starts as teaching a few kids how to stay alive in the wilderness turns into something more when Cliff finds himself becoming the mentor they never expected and falling for the woman who refuses to give up on anyone. When camp ends, he and Kat head into the mountains to scout new trails for the next season. Then an early snowstorm traps them in a single tent, turning forced proximity into a temptation neither of them can ignore. Cliff has spent his career saving everyone else. Now he has to decide if he's finally willing to let someone get close enough to save him.
