You didn't lose your job. You lost the person your job told you that you were.
Or the relationship, the version of success, the role of being needed. We build identities around these things without realising it. Then life changes: redundancy, failure, loss, separation, burnout, or the quiet feeling that the life you built no longer feels like yours. What happens when the thing that told you who you were is no longer there?
Untitled by Unknown is for that moment. It follows one man from losing the roles that defined him to a different way of relating to himself, and it was written during the fall, in the order things happened, not looking back from safety.
At the centre of the book is the Warrior: the achiever, the provider, the perfectionist, the strong one. He is the most sophisticated thing you ever built, and he got you through. The problem was never the Warrior. The problem was believing he was all of you.
Observer Flow is the habit of noticing what your mind is doing before you automatically believe it, react to it, or become it. Four moves: Observe. Name it. Thank it. Return.
The Vedic map of the mind and modern neuroscience, thousands of years apart, independently describe the same territory. The book sets them side by side.
This is not a book about becoming a better version of someone else. It is about seeing yourself without needing a title to tell you who you are.
You don't need to agree with everything in it. You don't even need your life to be falling apart. You simply need to be willing to look.
Not a process you run. A reflex you train.

Arun Kumar was born in the UK and spent 17 years in medical technology. He studied Chemistry (BSc) and holds an MBA.When his job was taken away and he found himself at home with two toddlers, he was left asking one question: who am I if I'm not the breadwinner? Feeling emasculated, he began to spiral in his own mind about his self-worth. Out of that spiral he uncovered how his mind actually works, drawing on modern psychology, neuroscience and ancient wisdom. He wrote UbU for the people who never ask for help, because asking would mean admitting they're struggling. It's Arun's honest story, so you can be honest about yours, and a map for navigating and mastering your mind out of the situation.

Taschenbuch. Etat : Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - You didn't lose your job. You lost the person your job told you that you were. For years it worked - the title, the performance, the quiet competence everyone relied on. Then it was taken, and the question that had been waiting underneath became impossible to avoid: who are you, when the thing that told you who you were is gone UbU - Untitled by Unknown is the account of a man who went through exactly that, written from inside it rather than looking back from safety. It was written during the fall, in the order things happened, without the comfort of knowing where it was going. That is what sets it apart from almost everything else written about professional identity and its collapse. At the centre of the book is the Warrior - the achiever, the provider, the perfectionist, the strong one. Not a flaw to be fixed, but the most sophisticated thing you ever built: the best available response to real conditions, the identity that got you through. The problem was never the Warrior. The problem was believing he was the whole of you.Working through his own experience, Arun Kumar reads it through three lenses at once. His own, told plainly and without flinching. An ancient one - the map of the mind drawn thousands of years ago in the Vedic tradition, describing the reactive mind, the identity-maker, and the part that quietly watches all of it. And a modern one - the neuroscience of the same territory: the brain's inner narrator, the alarm system that fires beneath it, and the capacity to observe your own mind while it runs.Out of those three comes a practice anyone can use. Four moves: Observe. Name it. Thank it. Return. The gratitude step is the one nobody else in this territory makes - and the one that turns seeing a pattern into actually releasing it. The identity you built does not have to die. It steps down. That is a different promise from every other book on the shelf, and the only one that turns out to be true. This is not a redundancy memoir, and it is not a set of ten steps to a better life. It is a precise account of what has been running your life without your permission - and the tool that lets you take it back.It is for the reader who is capable by every external measure and quietly unsure it means what they thought it did - the one who has tried the usual answers and found them either too shallow or too far from the specific texture of what they're living. If you have felt the ground move under a life you built carefully, this book was written for you. N° de réf. du vendeur 9781067689001
