À propos de l'auteur

Trevor Cree was born in Steyning, Sussex, and has lived there most of his life. He studied agricultural engineering at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and spent his professional career working in over 30 countries worldwide undertaking short-term consultancy assignments for various international entities, including the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), European Union (EU) and UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Travel to countries such as China, North Korea, Vietnam, Sudan, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Moldova, Albania, Liberia and Sierra Leone influenced his views on the importance of democracy and democratic accountability. From 2012 onwards he took an active part in parish council affairs in Steyning in an effort to increase openness and transparency in local government. 'Modbury Tales' was written during an eight month stay in South Devon in 2022 and subsequently published as an eBook. In 2025 'Modbury Tales' was republished in the current paperback format.
