Mineral extraction on public lands, such as copper in my own Arizona, will forever alter our open and precious, public parklands.The violation of indigenous Native American’s sovereign spiritual lands that our current President Trump cedes to the extractive industries best exemplifies the peril of communal legacies that can protect our future progeny and the quality of life of our children.
