It's a tough course and if you get the chance to play a tournament there, then this book will definitely come in handy as you play your rounds. This book is designed to capture your notes and will prove to be a valuable asset to you (and perhaps others) through years of use. Part of the challenge that the USPGA wishes to preserve in the game is the golfer's sense of distance, elevation and condition of the target landscape as they play the game. This yardage book helps in some of those things but by no means will give away all of the answers. It is an aid and, as such, is a valuable one if the "secrets" of the course are captured in the notes of those who know it well. In closing, you should know that all of the information in this book has been from on-site data collection, photogrammetric processing, detailed analysis and evaluation using modeling and geographic information systems (GIS); you're not getting a warmed over Google Maps book here, everything in it has been derived without help from outside sources. Also, it is conformant with the USPGA rules that limit the boiler plate notes to those that are handwritten either by the golfer or their caddies. The JICYFU section of each hole should be supplied by the course on the day of the tournament (hopefully as a set of stickers) but can be hand-drawn as needed.
