A life as a Smuggler on the South Cornwall coast in Polperro is his next adventure. This comes to an end when he comes across a group of Wreckers. He then helps some friends escape back to France and the climax of this story.Whilst this is one man's journey in many ways it reflects the direction of travel of the history of Cornwall and gives the reader of appreciation of why, even today, this is an amazing place.
